Myrna S. Leonard is a native New Yorker, who has 25+ years’ experience in IT security and business management. She received her undergraduate degree in Public Policy from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and spent the first decade of her career in retail management. After taking a computer course at a small vocational program in Long Island, she turned her attention to the emerging IT industry. She worked for 10 years doing business continuity and state regulatory compliance for the financial industry where she ultimately attained her Masters of Science in Telecommunications and Information Systems Management from New York Polytechnic University. In 1995, Ms. Leonard started her first business, FutureGraphixx, Inc. providing desktop publishing services for a major hotel chain and financial institutions in the Wall Street area.
In 2000, Ms. Leonard made the move to Fairfax, VA where she became a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2006, Ms. Leonard’s entrepreneurial spirit once again beckoned and she formed her second corporation AudITegrity Inc, as a self-employed, independent contractor providing IT security services to federal and commercial clients. She enjoys the freedom of creating her own value, managing her own time and quality of life.
